What types of events can you host?
We host a wide range of events including birthdays, anniversaries, private dinners, corporate events, conferences, charity events and celebrations.
Can we hire the venue for exclusive use?
The barn itself is available for exclusive use. All other accommodation is booked on a first come, first served basis.
How do we secure a booking?
A deposit is required to confirm your event date, with staged payments due ahead of the event itself.
Can we arrange a viewing before booking?
Absolutely – we’d be delighted to show you around. We offer private viewings by appointment from Monday to Friday, as well as on selected weekend mornings. Get in touch today to arrange your visit, or email [email protected] and we’ll help you find a time that suits you.
Is there an events team to help us plan?
Yes. Our experienced events team can support with planning, logistics, layouts and supplier recommendations throughout the process.

Do you offer bespoke event packages?
Yes. Every event is different, so we can tailor packages to suit your guest numbers, catering requirements and event style.
What is included in venue hire?
Depending on the package selected, venue hire can include furniture, staffing, lighting, sound systems, bar facilities and coordination support.
Are there minimum guest numbers?
Minimum guest numbers may apply depending on the date, season and event type.
Are there additional hire items available?
Yes. Additional furniture, styling items and firepit hire can all be arranged.

Can we choose our own caterer?
All catering must be provided by one of our approved catering partners to ensure consistency and quality of service.
What catering styles are available?
Our catering partners can provide everything from formal dining and sharing feasts to BBQs, street food and evening catering.
Is there an on-site bar?
Yes. We operate a fully staffed and stocked in-house bar for weddings, events and celebrations.
Can drinks packages be arranged?
Absolutely. We offer tailored drinks packages and bespoke bar options to suit your event.
Can dietary requirements be catered for?
Yes. Our catering partners can accommodate dietary requirements and allergies with advance notice.

Is accommodation available on-site?
Yes. Guests can stay in the Tythe House, self-catering cottages or Tythe Lodge rooms, with accommodation for up to 90 guests available across the estate.
Can guests stay for one night?
Tythe Lodge rooms can be booked for single-night stays, while cottages and Tythe House require a minimum stay.
Is breakfast included?
A continental breakfast can be booked as part of your stay in Tythe Lodge rooms or cottages.
Is the accommodation suitable for groups?
Yes. Our accommodation options are ideal for group celebrations, corporate retreats and family gatherings.

Is there parking available?
Yes. Complimentary on-site parking is available for guests and attendees.
Do you have EV charging?
Yes. Two 22KW EV charging points are available on-site.
Is the venue accessible?
The ground floor of the venue offers step-free access and accessible bathroom facilities.
What AV facilities are available?
We can provide microphones, background music systems and conference facilities, with additional AV available through suppliers if required.
Can the venue be divided into smaller spaces?
Yes. The Great Tythe Barn and/or Tythe House can be divided into multiple areas for breakout sessions, meetings or flexible event layouts.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes. Wi-Fi is available throughout key event spaces.
What time does the venue close?
Closing times depend on the package booked and event type.

Can you host conferences and meetings?
Yes. We regularly host conferences, meetings, exhibitions and seminars.
Are breakout rooms available?
Yes. The venue includes multiple flexible spaces suitable for breakout sessions and smaller meetings.
Is the venue easy to access?
Great Tythe Barn is conveniently located near the M4 and M5 with rail links nearby, making it ideal for regional and national events.
Can overnight corporate retreats be arranged?
Absolutely. On-site accommodation allows teams and delegates to stay overnight and extend the experience.

Can you recommend suppliers?
Yes. We work with trusted local suppliers including florists, stylists and entertainment providers.
Can we bring our own entertainment?
In most cases, yes – subject to venue guidelines and approval.
Are decorations allowed?
Yes, although we ask guests to respect the historic building. No fixings that could damage beams or stonework are permitted.
