Imagine starting the morning slowly in the Tythe House followed by welcoming guests into the gardens for drinks in the sunshine. Picture exchanging vows beneath the oak Wedding Pavilion, under the Orangery at Tythe House or within the atmospheric 17th century stone barn itself.
As day turns into evening, the venue can then transform effortlessly from elegant wedding breakfast to vibrant evening celebration – complete with dancing, music and late-night memories.

Our packages include:
- Access to the barn from 9am the morning of your wedding day
- Fairy light canopy, fairy lights on stage and a solid oak guestbook table
- Use of our round tables, any tables for cake, formal top table etc.
- Provision of Chiavari Chairs or an alternative style of chair or table may be hired either via one of our recommended suppliers or your own supplier at additional costs.
- A dedicated events team throughout the planning process
- A fully stocked cash bar run by our experienced bar staff
- A rustic log slice cake stand and cake knife
- A background speaker system and microphones for speeches
- Three large easels for wedding signage

We work with a carefully selected group of trusted catering partners, each offering flexible menus designed around your style, guests and atmosphere – from elegant formal dining to relaxed sharing feasts and late-night food.
Our experienced bar team can also create tailored drinks packages to suit your day. The Great Tythe Barn supplies all your drinks requirements – post ceremony, wedding breakfast and toast- and we offer four tailor made packages.
