Parking – Please park in the main car park
EV charging –There are Two 22KW Chargers, app and swipe card.
Arrival time – Please arrive 30 mins before a wedding ceremony in time to take your seat.
Check in times – Tythe Lodge and cottages check in from 3pm, Tythe House check in from 4pm
Accessible access – The Great Tythe Barn has step free access (excluding both the Escort and Newnton galleries) and features an accessible bathroom.
Baby changing – located in the Great Tythe Barn’s accessible bathroom.
Children – Please supervise Children at all times, please respect both grounds and the livestock on-site.
Smoking and vaping – Restricted use to outdoor only.

What time should guests arrive?
We recommend arriving around 30 minutes before the ceremony or event start time to allow time for parking and finding your seat.
Is parking available on-site?
Yes. Complimentary parking is available for guests within the main venue car park.
Are EV charging points available?
Yes. Two 22KW EV charging points are available on-site for guest use.
Is the venue accessible?
The Great Tythe Barn offers step-free access across the ground floor alongside accessible bathroom facilities.
Is accommodation available on-site?
Yes. Guests can stay in the Tythe House, self-catering cottages or Tythe Lodge rooms, all located within the grounds of Great Tythe Barn.
What time is check-in for accommodation?
Tythe Lodge rooms and cottages are available from 3pm, while Tythe House check-in begins from 4pm.
Is breakfast included?
A continental breakfast is available for Tythe Lodge and cottage guests and served in the breakfast room overlooking the Main House lawns.
Can children attend events and weddings?
Absolutely. We simply ask that children are supervised at all times throughout the venue and grounds.
Can guests book taxis locally?
Yes. We recommend pre-booking taxis due to the countryside location.Please do not rely on Uber.
Are pets allowed?
We have one pet-friendly room. Pets are not permitted in the rest of the accommodation, although dogs may attend wedding ceremonies and photographs by prior arrangement.
Is smoking or vaping permitted?
Smoking and vaping are restricted to designated outdoor areas only.
Can guests bring their own food or drink?
No external food or drink may be brought into the venue unless agreed in advance with the events team.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes. Wi-Fi is available throughout key guest and event areas.
What happens if it rains?
The venue offers beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing celebrations and ceremonies to adapt comfortably whatever the weather.
